Meet the experienced and friendly doctor and staff who make North Star Eye Care the leading provider of vision care products and services in Maple Grove.
Dr. Fischer grew up in Lake Lillian, MN and graduated from ACGC High School. She attended St. Mary’s University with a biology and chemistry major and received her optometry degree from the Illinois College of Optometry in 2007. Dr. Fischer graduated optometry school Cum Laude, was a member of the Tomb and Key Honorary Society, and received an ICO Clinical Excellence award.
Since graduating optometry school, Dr. Fischer has been practicing in Willmar, Richfield, and St. Louis Park. She has special interest in glaucoma and pediatric optometry. Dr. Fischer has also worked with a corneal specialist and is well experienced in refractive surgery. She is a member of the American Optometry Association and Minnesota Optometric Association.
In her free time, Dr. Fischer enjoys spending time with her friends and family, working out, and going to hockey games.
